The Secret Universe - Part 1
Once upon a time a detective lived in London. The name of the detective was Hales.
One day, He received a letter. In the letter, it was written: “I have a thief in my house but I cannot find him or her so only you can find the thief”. The writer did not write his name but he has written his address. Alex decided to go to the address. He sat in a taxi and said to the driver, “Green Street Block No. 6”. The driver reached in 6 minutes. He got out of the taxi and rang the bell. A 5-year-old child opened the door. “If you want to kidnap me, kidnap me now”, the child said loudly. Alex said I do not want to kidnap you. He showed the letter to the child and said “Show someone elder in your house”. The boy ran into the house. After one minute the boy came back. He said “My father is saying you can come in”. Alex went inside the house. It was a big house. When he entered the room he saw a man with big moustaches. The room was very big. There were two men, two women and four children. The children were watching TV. All people were drinking tea. A woman said “so it’s you”. A man said “please, sit down”. Alex sat down on a chair. Then, a man said, “why did you come here? Alex said, “didn’t you get the letter from the child’? I am the detective. I came here because of that letter”. The man said, “We did not write this letter”. Alex said, “but your address was written on the letter”. Then another man came into the room. When he saw Alex, he was surprised. Alex stood up and searched that man. He found a gun in his pocket. He asked from the two men, “Do you know this guy?” One man said ‘No’. Alex said ‘Let’s take this man to the police. They took him to the police. They found that he was a police officer. Alex went home. After one week he received another letter. It had the same handwriting, the same words and the same address. He wrote a reply to the letter and posted it to the same address. He wrote in it that ‘anybody who sent this letter to me please write your name’. Then after a day he received a letter. In it was written that he didn’t have a name. The next day he received a letter from the same address. In it was written ‘please come or the thief will eat me”. Alex replied that he would come the next day.’ The next Morning, Alex went to the same address. There he pressed the doorbell. This time a man came to open the door. Alex had not seen this man the last time. He did not say any word. Alex went into the same room. All the people were there. Alex sat on a chair and said “tell me who wrote that letter. The new man stood up and said that he had written that letter. Alex asked ‘Do you live here? The man said ‘no this is my friend’s home. I come here every evening’. Alex asked ‘what is your name? And where do you live”? He said “my name is Philip and I live in the adjacent house”. Alex said “Okay Philip, but what is your problem? There is a ghost in my house. We do not believe that ghosts are in our world so, we called him a Thief. Okay I will come tomorrow your house with my Mystery bag at 7:00 am. Philip said okay and he left that house. He came exactly at 7:00 am at the house door. He rang the bell. After 30 seconds the same man came to open the door. He asked Alex to sit in the living room.

The new man stood up and said that he had written that letter. Alex asked ‘Do you live here? The man said ‘no this is my friend’s home. I come here every evening’. Alex asked ‘what is your name? And where do you live”? He said “my name is Philip and I live in the adjacent house”. Alex said “Okay Philip, but what is your problem? There is a ghost in my house. We do not believe that ghosts are in our world so, we called him a Thief. Okay I will come tomorrow your house with my Mystery bag at 7:00 am. Philip said okay and he left that house. He came exactly at 7:00 am at the house door. He rang the bell. After 30 seconds the same man came to open the door. He asked Alex to sit in the living room.
Alex sat on a sofa. Then he told Alex that there was a dirty room where the ghost lived. When he told this he stood up and took Alex to the door of that room. The sound of laughter was coming from the room. The door was old and dirty.
The wall was full of stains and had bad smell. Alex asked him ‘Did you go in?’ He said ‘yes I went into that room so I know there is a ghost in there and sometimes it comes to our room at night. Alex said ‘okay I will go in but will you come with me? Philip said that he can’t go inside because he was scared of the ghost. Alex said ‘Is this a trick? He said, ‘no, if you want to check you can go with my son. He wanted to go in.’ Alex said ‘where is he?’ He said that he was in his room. Alex said, ‘okay call him and give me a bottle of water’. After one minute a boy came and stood near Alex. Then, Philip gave Alex a bottle full of water. The time was 7:30 am when they opened the door. Alex asked the boy’s name. He said, ‘my name is Hales’. When they opened the door some bats came out of the door. Then they entered the room. The room was very dark. Alex opened his bag and took a torch out. They only saw garbage everywhere. They walked and walked. After a mile they heard the sound of laughter. Now there was no garbage but a clean path but the sound of laughter was still coming. At 9:00 am they saw a man and a pipe. It was a water-pipe. The man was very far .We walked and then we reached a bathroom. The bathroom was neat and clean. At 10:00am they sat down to take some rest and drank water. After half an hour they started walking again. At 11:00am they saw dead bodies. Then they saw a bed. There they slept for one hour and then started walking. At noon they saw some light. It was coming from a room. There they saw a Bulb. Hales touched the bulb. As soon as he touched it, some living organism kidnapped them and the organism sprinkled a powder on them and they went to sleep.
